Thomas Nuthmann is a certified intellectual property rights attorney, has been working for JBB Rechtsanwälte since 2001 and became partner in 2006. He provides advice on all aspects of copyright and intellectual property rights mainly to telecommunications businesses and Internet providers and operators, putting special emphasis on competition law. In these markets, where tough competition prevails, he develops procedural strategies for his clients, aimed at combating unfair advertising by competitors as well as legal attacks from organizations or competing businesses.

Ever since 1996, Thomas Nuthmann has been dealing with legal issues of the Internet, which play a particularly important role in the field of intellectual property rights.

Thomas Nuthmann studied jurisprudence at the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, where his special subject was “Competition & Anti-Trust Law, Intellectual Property Rights & Copyright Law.” For a long time he has been devoted to the legal problems of the Internet; from 1996 to 1999 he provided services on this very subject for a number of Internet portals.
